At Hestia, we are guided by our core values and are dedicated to fostering an equitable, diverse, and inclusive organisation. Our mission is to empower individuals to rebuild their lives and achieve independence. Right now, we are looking for an Engagement Coordinator to play a pivotal role in our Volunteering and Coproduction service in London

Sounds great, what will I be doing?

This role serves as the central point of contact for Hestia's operational services and the Together Network, with a mission to amplify the voices of service users and embed collaborative practices across the organisation. It focuses on engaging service users, volunteers, and staff to co-create meaningful change by fostering recovery, empowerment, and inclusion. Core responsibilities include developing and facilitating service user involvement initiatives, coordinating training and toolkits, recruiting and supporting a diverse volunteer base, leading activities and surveys, and representing Hestia within the wider community. The role promotes a culture of shared learning and mutual respect, supporting service users in shaping services, building on their lived experiences, and creating opportunities for growth, safety, hope, and purpose. The Together Network is central to Hestia's mission—working together to listen, empower, and co-produce better outcomes for all involved.

What do I need to bring with me?

You'll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires as well as match our values and mission. You don't have to tick all the boxes right away; the important thing is that you're willing to learn. We also value lived experience of the areas we support, so if you feel comfortable, please do mention this on your application.

Here's what the team will be looking for:

  • Strong organisational and project management abilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage diverse groups.
  • Skilled in adapting to change, supporting and supervising volunteers, and delivering presentations to varied audiences.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data evaluation, with solid literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Experienced in promoting collaboration and culturally aware approaches across teams.
