Sounds great, what will I be doing?
The role involves delivering intensive, person-centred casework and support to women, including the development of tailored Support and Safety Plans focused on individual strengths and goals. It includes providing advice on safety (particularly around domestic abuse), promoting independent living, and ensuring safeguarding protocols are followed in collaboration with statutory agencies. The post-holder will support housing needs, facilitate empowerment-focused activities, and promote co-production in line with the Hestia Approach. They will work collaboratively with external services to safeguard and enhance opportunities for service users, ensure safe accommodation, and maintain accurate financial and service records in accordance with organisational policies and regulatory frameworks.

Here's what the team will be looking for
Proven experience in delivering high-quality floating and outreach support to individuals with diverse needs, aspirations, and associated risks. Skilled in client-focused support planning, risk assessments, and key working to promote independence. Demonstrates strong knowledge of welfare benefits, housing legislation, and safeguarding practices. Familiar with health and safety procedures relevant to working in clients' homes and able to use computer systems for accurate record-keeping. Possesses a sound understanding of issues such as mental health and substance misuse, and committed to upholding service users' rights, privacy, and dignity. Effective in liaising with external professionals to enhance support delivery, with a proactive approach to continuous professional development. Ability to travel locally is essential.
